In Episode 123, Ben chats with Rashida Biera, a behaviour analyst and owner/founder/creator of Hue-man Expressions LLC, and Jaleesa Holden, an incredible mother and advocate of a young Autistic boy who utilizes images from Hue-man Expressions with her son.  Hue-man expressions create high-quality detailed images of Black and brown children and adults that can be used as visual supports in behavior analytic programs, speech and language pathology, special education, and more.

Episode 120 is a conversation with Dr. Eziafakaku Nwokolo, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Qualified Behavior Analyst (QBA). Notably, she is the only BCBA in the entire resident Nigerian population and one of the growing numbers of QBAs in the country.
She is the Founder and CEO of Shades of Life Care Limited (SOL), a centre that provides assessment, diagnosis, and intervention strategies to families with children that have behavioural challenges, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), as well as intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The facility also offers training and supervision services to Behaviour Analysts and Technicians in Nigeria.
She holds a Ph.D. in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities from the University of Kent, where her thesis focused on “Screening for Autism and Intellectual Disabilities Amongst the Nigerian Adolescent Population”. Her thesis represents a significant milestone in Nigeria, as this study is the first of its kind in the country and will help support diagnosis and intervention for Autism and other Intellectual Disabilities because it highlights the need to create a more comprehensive screening methodology for Nigerians and Africans that is culturally appropriate.

Landa believes that everyone has a fundamental right to sexual health knowledge, education, and support that meets their individual needs. An enrolled member of the Assiniboine-Sioux Tribes of the Fort Peck Reservation and a descendant of the Absentee Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma, Dr. Maegan Rides At The Door, LCPC has served as the National Native Children’s Trauma Center Director since 2015. Maegan utilizes her knowledge in culturally trauma responsive care to provide training and technical assistance with a wide variety of systems of care including but not limited to schools, child welfare, juvenile justice, and healthcare. She has been central to the design and implementation of trauma-responsive systems of care with tribal, private, federal, and state partners; the implementation of cross-system youth suicide prevention programming; and the expansion of child advocacy centers’ capacity to meet the needs of tribal communities.
